Morocco celebrates revolution's 44th anniversary

Morocco celebrated yesterday the 44th anniversary of its revolution against the French occupying authorities. King Al-Hassan delivered a speech on commemoration of this occasion.
The revolution against the French occupation took place in 1953 when King Mohamed V of Morocco and his family were exiled to Corsica as he called for independence.
