Egypt participates in auditing conference in Turkey

Ehab Elwy, head of the Central Agency for General Mobilization and Statistics (AGMS), left Cairo August 18 for an official visit to Istanbul, during which he will attend meetings of the international statistics conference being kicked off today.
In a pre-departure statement, Elwy said that the eight-day conference aimed at developing statistics and unifying concepts this field, and that Egypt would present its experiment in gathering statistics and their role in enhancing the open economy and other investment areas Egypt was currently adopting.
