Four kidnapped free in Yemen

Four Italian tourists kidnapped by tribesmen north of Sanaa the Yemeni capital were freed on August 16, but six others abducted separately in the South were still being held, an Italian embassy spokesman said in Sanaa.
The Italian spokesman said that the Yemeni government had negotiated the release of the four tourists. He said he did not know the details of the deal.
He also added that the Yemeni government had been sent to negotiate the release of the other six Italians.
