Syrian-Russian commercial cooperation

A cooperation agreement was signed on August 17 between Aleppo city Chambers of Commerce and Industry and a delegation of the Russian group for industry and agriculture led by Victor Vedmanov.
The agreement provides for setting up an exhibition for Syrian products in the city of Varonic, the opening of Syrian-Russian supermarkets to sell Syrian commodities in Moscow, and building a factory for processing wood imported from Russia in Aleppo in accordance with investment law No. 10 for 1991.
The delegation visited a number of textile and spinning factories in the governorate expressing admiration for the quality of Syrian industry.
