Ban instituted on non-Kuwaitis' treatment in hospitals

The Kuwaiti Minister of Health banned yesterday the treatment of non-Kuwaiti residents in specialized hospitals or clinics, Al-Akhbar newspaper said today.
A decree limiting a large number of medicines to Kuwaiti nationals had previously been issued by the minister. Kuwaiti physicians are dissatisfied with the new medical policy in Kuwait, saying they swore to treat patients regardless of their nationality, sex, religion or color.
