Yemen to seek loans for developmental projects

Yemen is seeking to restructure its institutions and implement development projects through foreign loans, an official from the Yemeni Ministry of Economy said on Aug.12.
The government decided to prioritize financial and monetary reforms and go on to complete the five-year plan (1996-2000).
The World Bank had previously agreed to give Yemen a $30 million loan for the Social Development Fund ,whose capital reaches $80 million and in which other international institutions and donor-countries have shares.
