Assuit Airport goes international

The Assuit Airport will receive its first long-distance flight on September 1, said pilot Abdl Fattah Kato, chief of the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority.
He added that the Egyptian national carrier, Egypt Air, was planning to launch weekly Cairo-Assuit-Kuwait flights to use the airport after it underwent intensive development operations.
