Attacks on Lebanon escalate

Israeli occupation forces continued on August 12 to attack Lebanese areas close to occupied south Lebanon and the western Bekaa.
Security sources said the Israeli artillery shelled the areas of al Qeseya valley, al Sawanna, al Jmeijimeh, Majdal Sulum, Majdal Zoun, the western Bekaa outskirts, Birket Jabbour, al-Sarira hills, Hasbaya and al Qatrani woods, as well as the areas of Sujud Mount, al Rayhan and Zahrani riverbed.
The sources said that the shelling was accompanied by Israeli warplanes' sorties, provocative mock raids over al Nabateya and aI Touffah district, and reconnaissance operations over the western district.
Lebanese national resistance sources said that a group of resistance men shelled on August 12 the Israeli occupation position in Dabsha area, scoring direct hits.
