Egyptian airplane passengers escaped death in Turkey

An Egyptian airplane headed into Istanbul Turkish Airport yesterday August 11, had a miraculous averted a serious accident, when the plane skidded from its main runway for a long distance and came to a halt on a muddy area.
"The plane had been diverted from stage 6 to stage 24 because of gear breakdown," sources in the Turkish airport said.
"Nobody was hurt, or injured," the Misr Air regional manager asserted. He added that the plane is intact and the pilot did his best to peacefully descend in spite of bad wheather facing Istanbul since last night.
The plane will resume its journey returning back to Cairo after it's picked up from the mud, the pilot added.
