More Israeli air raids on Lebanon

Israeli jet fighters and helicopters on August 11 flew over the Bekaa region, dropping strange objects.

Security sources said the strange objects were thick plastic bags which have several holes and contain traces of black dust. Lebanese security forces immediately rushed to the scene to identify these objects. No reports yet on what the substance is.

Earlier in the day, Israeli planes intensively flew at low altitude over the central sector of south Lebanon. The Israeli planes carried out provocative fake raids from August 9 until August 11 over al-Nabatieh and Al Tufah districts.

Meanwhile, militias prevented an Amnesty International delegation from passing Kafer Tebnit crossing in South Lebanon to get acquainted with Lebanese prisoners' conditions at Israeli al-Khayam jail.

Radio Orient reported that Lebanese prisoners' families staged a sit-in on August 11 in front of the headquarters of the international committee of the Red Cross in al-Nabatieh, demanding the release of their sons.
