AN ATTEMPT TO ESCAPE BITTERNESS

In his new collection of poems entiteld "By My Wings" I see a Saint Sami Nayyal trying to escape pressure and gloominess facing him obstinatelly.
Nayyal is armless in the battlefield except with two wings of a saint. The poet's solution are postponed or impossible to be achieved. Corruption is nosing ahead unchallenged. He saddled his faith in the hope of getting rid of the overwhelming gloominess to stand before his destiny dismantled of all defense weapons except expectations.
He stands before a new case of love experiencing contradictory feelings leading to superficial happiness. This experience of love increases thirst in the poet's soul and deepens in him restlessness and troubles.
Poet Sami Nayyal calls himself " the poet of darkness and loneliness". He returns to his roots to find the humane in it and preserve his balance. He starts drinking deep of prophets' wine in the light of the lamps of desires.
