10 imported food shipments rejected

The Egyptian Health Affairs office in Alexandria has rejected 10 foodstuff shipments imported from Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, Cyprus, Greece, Germany, Tailand and Spain.
The shipments were found to be unfit for human consumption and not in compliance with health specifications.
Meanwhile, crackdowns on food production factories last month in Alexandria resulted in destroying about 7,657 tons of foodstuffs which were found to be unfit for human consumption.
