Drug ban in Kuwait refused
Kuwait, Medicine, 8/8/1997
MP Adnan Abdul Samad strongly criticized the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health for banning expensive medicines for expatriates.
He described the decision which bans 83 highly expensive lifesaving medicines as: "A coup in the social and humanitarian life in Kuwait."
He added that the decision attempts to rectify the mistake of medicine abuse by committing a greater sin.
