Unprecedented Visit By Lockerbie Accident Families

Families of victims of the 1988 bombing of a Pan Am flight over Lockerbie, Scotland, paid an unprecedented visit to Libya, which is accused of the bombing, and met the Libyan Justice Minister on August 5.
A delegation representing the 270 victims of the bombing discussed with Minister Mohamed Al-Zouai proposals aimed at ending the deadlock over the Lockerbie case and guaranteeing a fair trial for the two Libyans suspected of carrying out the bombing.
