American tourist killed by headphones

An American female tourist, 19, died in Edfu on August 6, under train wheels when she was photographing the ancient monuments near a level crossing in the historic southern city. The tourist was wearing headphones, so she couldn't hear the train or the warnings of her colleagues, a security source said.
He added that he had notified the Edfu prosecutor, who ordered the victim's body be sent to the American Embassy in Cairo, about the incident .
