16 clinics closed down in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia, Medicine, 8/5/1997
The Saudi government closed down 16 medical clinics in Jeddah for repeated violations of health regulations, Al Madinah daily reported on August 4.
An official source from the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia said that the step was taken in order to put things in order with those clinics and to check their repeated violations of Saudi law.
While things are being corrected in these clinics, 100 doctors that worked in the clinics have been prevented from practicing in some regions, while others were referred to the concerned authorities for violations they committed.
