Water research center in Riyadh

For the purpose of carrying out research and projects relating water in Saudi Arabia, a water research center will be established jointly in Riyadh by the Department of Water and Sewage and the Chemical Engineering Department of King Saud University.
The purpose of establishing the center is to find solutions to the problems relating to water and sewage disposal in Riyadh.
The center will also undertake research projects relating to the problem of falling water levels in the capital region.
Efforts already being extorted to find ways to maximize the use of water by treating different kinds of water. Among steps being taken is treating used water for both industrial and agricultural use.
