First issue of Jordanian newspaper Al-Nahda confiscated

The Jordanian government confiscated the first issue of "Al-Nahda" newspaper, affiliated with the National Constitutional Party which has recently been formed by a number of parties. The government said the newspaper was issued before being licensed according to the publication act.
Public Works Minister, Naser El-Louzy, stated that the government decided to stop any future issues distributed by the newspaper before it obtained a license.
