2.5 million barrels per day of oil is the capability of Iraq now

"Iraq can from today, August 4, export 2.5 million barrels per day of crude oil which can be increased to three million barrels per day if only minor technical requirements are made available,"Taha Hamoud the Iraqi under-secretary of oil said in a report to the daily al Qadisiyah.
Also Iraq is ready to resume sales under the oil-for-food deal with the United Nations.
