Palestinian shot dead near settlement

An Israeli soldier said that a Palestinian was shot dead by attackers in a passing car near a Jewish settlement in the West Bank on August 3. Israelšs channel 2 television, emphasizing it was working from initial report, quoted one witness as saying the car bore yellow number plates belonging to Israel.
