Anniversary of Tutankhamen tomb discovery

Egypt is planning nation-wide celebrations later this year to mark the 75th anniversary of the Tutankhamen's tombıs discovery. The celebration will be marked with the performances of the opera Aida in front of the Nile's western bank of Hatshepsut.
The Culture Ministry is to hold an exhibition of personal belongings of Howard Carter who discovered the mummy. The house in which he lived in luxury will be opened for visitors as a small museum.
