First official Arabic daily launched by Iran

Iran yesterday published its first, Arabic newspaper "Al Wefak" in its bid to forge friendship between the Islamic republic and Arab states.
Al Wefak is published by the state run Iran news agency. The London based daily Al-Shark-Al-Awsat said yesterday that more than 20 Arab Journalists would contribute to the new publication.
