New Islamic archaeological sites revived

15 new Islamic sites in Foun, Egypt opened to visitors yesterday by F. Hosni minister of culture.
Experts said itıs rare examples of the Islamic architecture that thrived in Egypt centuries ago.
The city houses are a large number of craftsmen working in the dying handicrafts.
Dr. A. Hassan secretary general of the supreme council for antiquities which supervised the reiteration works said the project covered rare mosques, old schools and factories in the city.
