Religious talks with Malaysia

Minister of Awqaf (religious affairs) Dr. Mahmoud Hamdi Zakzouk met today with a Malaysian delegation visiting Egypt, headed by the leader of the theology council at the Malaysia Islamic University.
They discussed means of boosting Islamic cooperation between the two countries to face the non-Islamic trends and misunderstandings of Islam that have begun to appear there recently.
The two stressed their efforts to highlight the Islamic values of modernization and tolerance, and facing extremism in behavior or thinking.
