Ramses II gets a new home

The Governor of Guiza paved and planted trees on all the roadsides leading to the antiquity area of Meit Rahina because of a ceremony which is to be held on the occasion of the moving of the colossal statue of Ramses II to its birthplace in Meit Rahina, in which the Minister of Culture and Tourism and the Supreme Council for Antiquities will take part.
A big museum will be established. Kiosks and shops inside the area will be reorganized to fit in with the cultural aspects of the area.
