Call for destruction free zone

The Arab League Technical Committee, responsible for drafting a treaty on establishing an area free of weapons of mass destruction in the Middle East, will hold a two-day-meeting in Cairo on Sunday.
The meeting, held at the level of ambassadors and permenant representatives, would discuss all the details related to the treaty, Arab League sources stated. The Egyptian President as well as other Arab leaders called for a Middle East area, including Israel, free of mass destruction weapons.
