Lower custom duties to encourage investments

The Egyptian government has recently adopted amendments to ease customs duties as a part of its economic and financial policies.
The amendments are designed to help the Egyptian industry face competition from foreign industries, they would lead to a reduction in the prices of the products in the customs list, making those products more salable. This also would lead to the promotion of exports and the opening of new markets for Egyptian goods.
