Goverment to announce new prices for cotton exports

Minister of Supply and Foreign Trade Dr. Ahmed Gwili instructed the authorities concerned with the cotton trade to prepare a detailed report on cotton marketing and exporting problems to be submitted to Prime Minister Dr. Kamal Ganzouri.
Dr. Gowieli said that all problems hindering cotton exports and marketing process will be solved soon to boost cotton exports.
Dr. Gowilei said that a new system for marketing and exporting the new cotton crops will be announced soon. New prices for the new cotton crops will also be announced.
The area cultivated with cotton for this year was 856,000 feddans, said chairman of the cotton and trade holding company Nabil El-Marsafawi.
The next meeting of the cotton committee will be in September under the chairmanship of Dr. Goweili.
