Team from Kuwait's KIA in Yemen for economic talks

A delegation from the Kuwait Investment authority (KIA) is in Yemen for talks on economic cooperation, the official al-Thawraa newspaper said on July 21.
"The delegation will meet officials at the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank and discuss economic, banking and financial cooperation," the paper said.
Kuwaiti officials have been quoted by the media as saying Yemen owes the KIA some 320 million US dollars in loans and interest.
