Egyptian wins prestigious award for art

An Egyptian was the first prize winner at a Croatian fine arts festival recently, cultural sources said. L.E 59.000 was granted for a piece of work by veteran artist Farouk Wahba.
The Egyptian pavilion at the biennial displayed works by three leading painters, Wahba, Farghal Abdl Hafiz and Ahmed Fouad Selim.
The three artists gained tremendous success among critics, visitors and fellow artists for their works.
