US, Kuwait navies begin war games

Kuwaiti and US navies will begin live-fire maneuvers today in the latest in a series of joint war games that started after the 1991 Gulf war.
Exercise Iris Gold is expected to continue until the end of August said a US official who spoke on the customary condition of anonymity.
The sailors will use small boats to train on how to better work together.
