Egyptian dies in Libya clash
Libya, Local, 7/18/1997
Libyan security forces accidentally shot an Egyptian man to death in the Libyan coastal town of Benghazi during a shutout with suspected Islamist militants, security sources said on July 14.
They said Khaled Ibrahim, 30, was sitting at a cafeteria when he was caught in the crossfire. Travelers say that Benghazi has been the site of many clashes between Libyan security and opponents of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.
The Libyans transported Ibrahim's body to Egypt.
