Lebanon tourism Arab common market strategic step

A leading Lebanese official yesterday praised President Hosni Mubarak's support of Arab political and economic issues, saying that the Egyptian stances helped greatly to enhance pan-Arab coordination.
Major-General Sami al-Khatib, chief of the defense and security committee, told Sawt El Arab (Voice of Arabia) radio that President Mubarak's call to establish the Arab common market is an outstanding Arab strategic move as the entire Arab world will benefit from this market.
