Tomorrow in another hotel, we'll drown or burn another child

In one of Cairo's biggest hotels, a mysterious murder took place. A Kuwaiti family said at 2:30 a.m. the day before yesterday, their 4-year old child was found dead on the floor in his underwear.

He seemed to have been drowned by an Iraqi who left a message: "Tomorrow in another hotel, we'll drown or burn another child." Investigations continued till 3:00 a.m. today.

A policeman discovered strangers could by no means enter the suite, and the child was sleeping with his sisters in a room adjacent to his parents'. It was hard to believe that someone might have taken and killed the child without drawing the parents' or sisters' attention9particularly as no wounds or marks were left on the dead body. Moreover, policemen found the child's wet pajamas beside the bathroom.

The parents strangely insisted the Iraqi killed their child. When asked again, the mother contradicted her previous statements. Then she confessed that the Iraqi story was of her own making. She fabricated the message after discovering the death of her child so that she wouldn't be blamed for carelessness.
