Washington urges Kuwait to buy American weapons not Chinese

Immediately after the ³Washington Post² had published a report on weapons, the US Department of State's official spokesman said that the United States urged Kuwait not to buy Chinese weapons and asked it to buy American ones instead, because the latter excel and because Washington had led the allied forces in the 1990 Gulf war.
The Voice of American (VOA) reported that US army weapons excel in quality and efficiency and they are more reliable than the Chinese.
