Syrian festival in Canada

The Syrian-Canadian Union in Montreal city and the Syrian-Canadian Women's Union in Toronto will hold a Syrian festival next October.
The festival, which is held under the patronage of Minister of Tourism Dr. Danho Dawwod, will be held under the title "Visit Syria, the Cradle of History and Civilization."
The exhibition's program includes several receptions to Arab and foreign diplomats as well as the representatives of Arab and world tourism companies.
The program also includes several folklore activities that will shed light on the rich and varied Syrian heritage.
A special exhibition of antiquities will display the latest discoveries that throw light on the past glory of the ancient Syrian kingdoms.
Another exhibition will display the achievements realized in Syria.
The event culminates the activities of the Syrian community in Canada with the aim of bolstering bilateral relations between Canada and Syria.
