Israeli settlement policy in Golan reinforced

In a new step to expand Israeli settlement in the Syrian Golan Heights, Israel has decided to move a center for qualifying Israeli teachers from the Teberes area to Katisrin settlement in the Golan.
Israeli Labor Party member Hajai Mirom said that opening a university-like center in Katsirin implies a political approach.
Israeli Deputy Minister of Culture and Education Moshe Belid said that the aim of this policy is to strengthen settlements in Golan.
