Egypt, North Korea review ties

Expanding relations between Egypt and North Korea were tackled yesterday by officials from both countries, Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs, Said Regal, met the North Korean ambassador in Cairo for discussions on development of bilateral cooperation.
The North Korean envoy also briefed the Egyptian official on the situation in the Korean peninsula and a relevant upcoming meeting in Newark.
Mr. Ragab said the North Korean diplomat had assured him that the food crisis in his country was now under control.
