Algiers cinema bomb

A homemade bomb exploded inside a cinema in a working-class district of Algiers on July 9, wounding at least 17 moviegoers, residents said.
"The bomb went off early in the afternoon inside Le Musset Cinema in Belcourt when a film was being shown," said a resident, speaking by telephone from Algiers.
Residents said they saw at least 17 wounded people from the blast, the latest in a series of bombings in the Algerian capital.
Meanwhile, the daily Al Akhbar reported that the bodies of six armed Islamists had been found on Tuesday buried in a forest in the Mascara region.
The men, buried a week ago, were killed in a police operation it said.
