Jordan hangs two women

Jordan has hanged two women who shot dead an alleged wife-beater and hid his dismembered body in a cesspool, the Jordan news agency said on June 25.
Amira Salem and Aida Hussein were executed for killing Salem's husband Murad Yousef in April last year.
Court documents said Salem plotted to kill Yousef because he physically abused her, threatened to leave her, and brought other women into their house.
Salem and Hussein, luring Yousef into a bedroom by telling him he could take Hussein as a mistress, told him to lie face down on a bed while Hussien pretended to undress for him.
