Egypt denies arrival of smuggled arms in Sinai

Egypt's North Sinai Governor Abdel Wahab Mabrouk has denied reports on the arrival of arms smuggled from Libya into Sinai and Gaza, Egypt's State Information Service reported.
"He said security bodies and frontier guards are tightening their grip on borders between Egypt and Gaza strip. Mabrouk said many shipments of goods have been seized before smuggling them to Gaza through tunnels," the report said.
