Hot weather and fast does not keep Iranians from Quds Day established by imam Khomeini

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said today Zionist regime's existence "is not merely a threat to the Palestinian and the entire regional nations, rather its establishment and continued survival contrast interests, independence and dignity of all regional nations."

He said the prelude to establishment of the regime was lies and deception. "One of the big lies is the Holocaust fable."

Ahmadinejad said that "Zionist regime's establishment and survival are in contrast with human dignity," IRNA reported.

IRNA also reported "(he said) now the signs were clear that the Zionist regime was a hollow and fake regime, a fact which makes enemies to embark on a historical withdrawal to save themselves instead of continuing with their aggressive and terrorist policies.

"Hailing the massive presence of Iranians in the nationwide Quds Day rallies, the President noted that the Iranian nation has always pioneered in demonstrating its sublime ideals as well as its national will.

"He said the Iranians were participating in the rallies on hot weather on Friday while they were fasting to replace oppression and injustice with justice and sincerity."

Meantime, Speaking to IRNA, the head of the Society for Humanitarian Support of Palestinians (GHUP), German - Palestinian activisit, Izzeddin Musa, voiced hope that this year's turnout at the World Quds Day celebrations around the world would "even be bigger and more effective" than in previous years.

IRNA added "Musa said this year's World Quds Day festivities should also be aimed at sending 'signals to Israel to finally end its Judaization' of Beit-ol-Moqqadas.

"Referring to the fact that Iran's late revolutionary leader of the 1979 Islamic Revolution Imam Ruhollah Khomeini(RA) had proclaimed the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan to be the World Quds Day, Musa called it a 'wonderful day.'"
