Mubarak discusses with Abbas momentum in the peace process
Egypt-Palestine, Politics, 10/28/2008

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak conferred yesterday with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on ways of reactivating the Arab peace initiative and the Egyptian efforts to achieve reconciliation among different Palestinian factions.

The Palestinian President said all PLO factions support the Egyptian document on national dialogue among all Palestinian factions. He said Egypt would publish the details of the agreement.

Commenting on discussing the Arab Peace Initiative during the meeting which was held last Thursday between Mubarak and the Israeli President Shimon Peres, he thanked his Egyptian counterpart for raising this issue with Peres, reminding that the initiative became Islamic too since it was adopted in the Islamic Summit in Tehran, which means that there are 57 countries ready to normalize its relation with Israel, in condition that Israel withdraws from All Arab Occupied Territories
