Ahmadi-Nejad for new international organizations to manage affairs, UN and others are obsolete
Regional-Iran-USA, Politics, 8/11/2008
Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad said today that the US hegemony is at the end of the rope. Domineering powers have lost their efficiency, he underlined.
He added that these powers are unable to represent a just system through their outdated political, economic and security apparatuses. Such outdated systems and organizations cannot help resolve regional and international challenges, he said, adding that that is why "We should introduce a new strategy for administration of the world."
The United Nations and other international organizations are not able to prevent massacre of innocent people in such countries as Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Lebanon and Sudan, he said, adding that the international organizations only serve the interests of big powers.
The United Nations Security Council is now like a tool in the hands of the US, he said adding that the US and other big powers should save their face in the UNSC instead of seeking to halt Iran's peaceful nuclear activities, he said.
