German Greens urge expansion of Iran-US dialogue on Iraq

Germany's opposition Green party Monday called for a massive expansion of the Iran-US dialogue in a bid to help stabilize the security situation in Iraq
"A (US) dialogue with the most important neighbors (of Iraq) - Iran and Syria - has yet to take place. The talks with Iran on an ambassador-level were first steps in the right direction and have to be massively expanded," said the deputy head of the Green faction in the German parliament, Juergen Trittin in a press statement.
