Tunisian human rights activist office attacked

HRinfo spoke of the acts of vandalism and arson on the office of Abbas Homamy, the Tunisian human rights activist on August 31st.Homamy had accused the Tunisian security services of seeking to hinder his reporting on the independence of the judiciary in Tunisia, and of being persecuted incessantly by members of the security services.
Arabic Network for Human Rights Information (HRinfo) said Homamy is one of the most celebrated human rights activists in Tunisia.
He is currently the secretary of the Tunisian association for human rights and one of the leading figures in the 18 October movement.
