Islamic groups key to mobilizing people in Palestine, Lebanon

Islamic groups in Lebanon and Palestine have the last word in mobilizing people in their resistance, Chairman of the Expediency Council Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said today. Addressing a local gathering in charge of mosques affairs, the cleric said that all Islamic groups in Palestine should observe the principle of "acting upon Islamic thoughts."
He added that mosques in the Islamic world can be a major hub for strengthening of Islamic solidarity. Believing in sincerity and monotheism is the key to the success of Muslim nations in solving their personal and social problems, Rafsanjani stressed.
