UN police vehicle involved in explosion in Lebanon

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) today confirmed that one of its military police vehicles was involved in an explosion. The vehicle was conducting its regular activity near Qasmieyah Bridge when the explosion occurred. None of the vehicle's occupants were injured.
A UNIFIL investigation team has been dispatched to the location, and the Lebanese Army was at the scene as well
