Congress delegation in Lebanon to support parliament

A US Congressional delegation led by Congressman David Price, Chairman of the House Democracy Assistance Commission, expressed support for Lebanon's parliamentary democracy, following talks with Head of the Future Bloc in Parliament MP Saad Hariri.
Speaking to reporters in Koreitem, Representative Price said his meeting with Hariri was candid and useful, and paid tribute to assassinated Prime Minister Rafic Hariri, for the role that he played in Lebanon and around the world. He stressed that the delegation was also impressed by Saad Hariri, who is pursuing the late Premier's legacy.
