Foreign investments in Egypt's oil sector to reach $30 billion in five years

"The foreign investment in the oil sector is expected to reach $ 30 billion in the next five years,"said Egypt's Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmi at a symposium organized at the Federation of the Egyptian Industries, saying that the exports of oil, petrochemicals and natural gas were worth $ 10.6 billion last year.
These exports are expected to hit the $ 12 billion mark in the fiscal year 2007/2008.
